Silva Hrabar-Owens, our founder, is a designer, storyteller, and rebel at heart. Raised in Eastern Europe, Silva’s childhood was influenced by war, the legacy of communism and women’s stitching circles. She saw from an early age how women’s labour was both powerful and invisible. Later, working in fashion and social change, she became determined to reclaim that invisibility - not just in words, but in action. During a time of personal transformation, Silva began stitching together a new vision: one where fabrics were reclaimed, not wasted, and where the people behind the clothes were celebrated, not erased.
