Bókun was founded in Iceland in 2012, to help tour and activity suppliers capitalise on the country’s booming tourism industry – and turn rising traveller demand into real bookings. In 2018, we were acquired by Tripadvisor and our mission to connect the industry and help more tour and activity operators move online scaled to new heights.

 Today, we operate independently with our own leadership team, led by General Manager Jennie Peacock-Putt. We're proud to be part of the Tripadvisor family but never share your data with them or anyone else.
