Nestled in the foothills of Mount Rainier in Eatonville, Washington, SideTool was founded over two decades ago by inventor Steve Schmidt. Recognizing the need for innovation in the construction industry, Steve developed equipment attachment systems that revolutionize how contractors work. His initial innovation allowed tools to be placed on the side of skid steers, enabling operators to drive forward instead of backward, enhancing safety and efficiency. This led to the creation of the first system allowing interchangeable attachments for skid steers, mini-excavators, and tractors, tailored specifically for contractors and owner-operators.
