Barclays Center

Barclays Center opened on September 28, 2012 and is a major sports and entertainment venue in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Owner Joe Tsai serves as its chairman. Barclays Center was developed by Brooklyn-based real estate company Forest City and designed by the award-winning architectural firms AECOM and SHoP Architects. The venue has one of the most intimate seating configurations ever designed into a modern multi-purpose arena, with unparalleled sightlines and first-class amenities. The venue offers 17,553 seats for basketball and up to 19,000 seats for concerts and other events. Consistently named a top 10 global arena by Billboard and Pollstar, Barclays Center is home to the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and the WNBA’s New York Liberty, as well as major concerts, boxing events, family shows, and college basketball.
